at Tessera Studio at 9am for a short introduction to digital
cameras and techniques necessary for successful flower photography.
We’ll then take you up the Great Dividing Range where
you’ll have a chance to practice these skills under the
guidance of two professional photographers at one of Austalia’s
premiere garden festivals. We will be staying until sunset,
so please bring a tripod if you have one available. |

| Basic
Digital Camera Workshop |
| In
this six hour workshop, learn about the buttons and settings
on your digital camera. Get familiar with the basic settings
and how to apply them to get memorable results. After the
presentation, we will put what you’ve learned into practice
with a hands-on field session. After lunch, we will be discussing
basic computer skills required to view and share your digital
images. |

| Beyond
the Basics Digital Camera Workshop
In this full day workshop, we will further explore
digital camera controls, learn how to apply these controls to obtain
better results, and discuss photographic techniques required for
landscape, travel, and portrait photography. After the presentation,
we will put what you’ve learned into practice with a hands-on
field session. In the afternoon, we will be discussing post processing
and printing techniques.

| Advanced
Digital Camera Workshop |
| In
the final workshop in the series, we will discuss features
found on advanced compact and digital SLR cameras. This full-day
advanced workshop will explore the art of photography, advanced
techniques to cope with difficult lighting situations and
the digital darkroom. As with each of the workshops in this
series, instruction will be accompanied with a hand-on field
component. While we will instruct participants on the skills
required to perfect exposure and lighting, we will be going
beyond the tecnical image to one that expresses emotion or
tells a story. |
